Mario is our Storyteller and a graduate from our Ocean Conservation Champion Project (OCC). After attending our marine resource management lessons in his free periods, Mario joined our swimming project as a teenager and quickly moved through the ranks and joined our OCC project. Through Love The Oceans Mario has now become the first qualified PADI Divemaster in the district and assists on all of LTO’s scientific projects. Mario is passionate about photography and film and loves to spend time behind the lens. Born and raised in our local area with close family members in the fishing community, he’s uniquely positioned to tell the stories of the community and LTO’s conservation efforts and share these with the world.
